NEO/NET GRID - A civilian air defense project

We are in danger.

We face threats from which our military, police and intelligence agencies are far too thinly spread to protect us. These agencies cannot completely monitor our borders, ports or our skies. While we cannot speak to the borders or ports, the skies are something about which we CAN do something.

The NEO/NET GRID project seeks to attract inter-disciplinary scientists and researchers...and their apparatus...to create a nationwide inter-connected network of sensor arrays to monitor American airspace for potential airborne threats. These threats include three main areas...aircraft, weather and climatological phenomena, and space-borne objects.

The goal of the project is to provide a civilian "first line of defense" against these threats.

Leveraging existing disparate sciences and technologies, and adding some exciting new technologies, coupled with the low cost of even sophisticated electronics in todays market, we will provide an amazing opportunity for synergies... focused on protecting the nation.

Beyond this goal, the data collected will be available to scientists, researchers, and the like for their own analysis in their own fields.

Our first order of business is to build a list of fields that already are involved in field research of things in the atmosphere.
